Residence Permit

As a consultancy firm in Moldova, we are here to guide you on how to obtain a residence permit in the country.

  1. Determine your eligibility – To get a residence permit, you must be a non-Moldovan citizen and meet certain criteria such as having a stable income, health insurance, and a clean criminal record.

  2. Gather required documents – To apply for a residence permit, you will need to submit the following documents:

  • Passport or identity card
  • Proof of income or financial means
  • Proof of health insurance
  • Criminal record certificate from your country of origin
  • Proof of accommodation
  1. Submit the application – You can apply for a residence permit at the Bureau for Migration and Asylum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The application can be submitted in person or through a representative.

  2. Pay the fees – The fee for a residence permit is 200 MDL for a period of one year, and 400 MDL for two years. The fees must be paid in advance.

  3. Wait for the decision – The Bureau for Migration and Asylum will review your application and make a decision within 90 days. If approved, you will receive a residence permit card, which must be renewed every year.
